Glossary

Adipose Tissue
Commonly known as body fat, it is a connective tissue that stores energy and cushions the body. It is also a rich source of stem cells, which can be used in regenerative medicine to produce exosomes for healing and rejuvenation.
Aesthetic Medicine
A field of medicine focused on enhancing appearance through minimally invasive or non-surgical procedures such as microneedling, skin rejuvenation therapies, and regenerative treatments.
Anti-Aging
Treatments, technologies, and practices aimed at slowing or reversing the visible effects of aging, including wrinkles, volume loss, and reduced skin elasticity.
Biocompatibility
The ability of a material or therapy to safely interact with the human body without causing harmful effects. Biocompatibility is essential in regenerative products like exosomes.
Biologics
Medical products derived from living cells or organisms. In aesthetics and wellness, biologics may include stem-cell–derived solutions and exosomes designed to repair or regenerate tissue.
Collagen
A key structural protein in the skin and connective tissues that maintains firmness, elasticity, and strength. Many regenerative therapies stimulate collagen production to restore youthful skin texture and resilience.
Cosmeceuticals
Topical skincare products that combine cosmetic benefits with biologically active ingredients. They bridge the gap between cosmetics and pharmaceuticals, often supported by scientific research.
EVOA
A regenerative product delivering 10 trillion exosome microvesicles (MV) per 5ml. Designed to support skin health and cellular repair, EVOA sets a new benchmark in exosome-based performance.
EVOA FX
A concentrated formulation of EVOA, offering a 4x potency boost with 40 trillion exosome MV per 5ml. EVOA FX represents one of the most advanced exosome therapies available.
Exosomes
Microscopic extracellular vesicles naturally secreted by stem cells. They transfer proteins, lipids, and genetic material between cells to regulate healing, regeneration, and communication. In aesthetics, exosomes are used to support skin rejuvenation, collagen stimulation, and overall cellular vitality.
Lyophilized Exosomes
Exosomes that have been preserved through freeze-drying (lyophilization), a process that removes water while maintaining structural integrity and bioactivity. This format ensures exceptional stability, long shelf life, and high efficacy in regenerative applications.
PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) Treatment
A regenerative therapy where a patient’s own blood is processed to concentrate platelets and growth factors, which are then reintroduced into the body. PRP is often used for skin rejuvenation, hair restoration, and healing, though exosome therapies are emerging as a more advanced alternative due to their precision and potency.
Stem Cells
Undifferentiated cells capable of developing into specialized cell types such as skin, muscle, or bone. In regenerative medicine, stem cells are valued for their ability to promote repair and healing. Exosomes derived from stem cells carry the active signaling molecules that drive these regenerative effects.
Viability
A measure of how functional and biologically active cells or exosomes remain after processing, storage, and delivery. High viability ensures that treatments maintain their intended regenerative and therapeutic effects.
